Launching September 2026 · Early access list now open

A quieter way
to be well.

Sláinte is a gentle wellness companion. One small thing today, a few people nearby who care about being well, and a little less noise. That's the whole idea.

A gentle wellness app, launching September 2026 in New Haven.

No spam. No tracking pixels. One short note when we launch.

Why we're building this

There are already thousands of health apps. Most of them are too loud.

You install one. It asks for nine permissions. It pings you about your steps, your streak, your sleep score, your “recovery readiness.” You feel a little worse, somehow. You delete it.

Sláinte is for the rest of us. For people who care about their health but aren't tracking every metric. For people who want a small, kind suggestion for today, and to know which yoga class three blocks away is actually beginner-friendly. That's it.

“The opposite of another health app. Less, but better.”
— What we say when people ask what it is.
How it works

Three small things, done well.

No streaks. No badges. No “you missed yesterday” nudges.

No. 1

One small thing today

A single suggestion, matched to your day and your habits. Your attention, on your schedule. Not nine alerts.

No. 2

People nearby

Local walking clubs, the right yoga class for a tired Tuesday, a free Tai Chi session at the library. Wellness where you actually live.

No. 3

Grounded in evidence

What you see is built from public-health guidelines (CDC, AHA, USPSTF) and clinical evidence — not wellness trends. We'll tell you what we don't know.

What makes us different

Wellness that happens
in person.

Most apps end at the screen. Sláinte starts there and walks you out the door. We connect you to the studios, parks, clubs and free programs already happening near you — not a sterile feed of content.

Matched, not listed

Not a directory you have to search. One suggestion at a time — picked for the kind of day you're having and the kind of week you're in. The studio three blocks away, the free morning walk, the class that's actually beginner-friendly.

Free counts too

A walk in East Rock, run clubs, the YMCA's beginner swim — these belong in your week the same way a paid studio does. We surface the right one for today, not a list of everything within five miles.

Made for showing up

The hard part of being well isn't knowing what to do; it's getting out the door. Everything we build is in service of that one moment — actually showing up.

Our promises

A few things we will never do.

Privacy isn't a settings tab for us. It's the design constraint everything else is built around.

We won't sell your data.

Not to insurers, not to brokers, not to advertisers. Your health information is yours. If we ever change this, you'll know before it happens.

We won't diagnose anything.

Sláinte is general wellness, not medicine. If something you tell us sounds like it belongs with a clinician — your doctor, a therapist, urgent care — we'll say so plainly and point you toward the right kind of help.

We won't guilt-trip you.

No streaks to break, no leaderboards, no “you missed yesterday.” A missed day is just a day. Tomorrow is fine.

We won't pretend to know you.

Personalization is earned, not assumed. We'll tell you what we know, what we're learning, and what we're still guessing at.

We'll use this to make our first message to you more relevant. That's it.
So we can let you know first when we launch near you.

You're on the list.

We'll send one short note when we open up — likely this fall. No follow-ups. Take care of yourself in the meantime.
